So to clarify, if mafia X killed asjm and was later elected Don, mafia X wouldn't show up as guilty? Thematically, that makes no sense, since investigators would have already gathered clues.

Rules clarifications: Mafia cannot conscript someone immediately after failing to kill them. The rules text of don is correct as written; it is slightly changed from previous games. Each rogue had a starting delay randomly assigned to them from [0,1,2]. |

Nota bene: what this rule change means about don is that don investigates guilty even on kills they've already made, mafia have probably already asked about this leading to make aok make the claim which is why it's being stated (aok said it was okay to post this). |

I think that is correct according to the rules. However any investigations made prior to the killer's election as Don would still show up guilty, I believe. Aok correct me if that's wrong. |

Ah, then mafia may very well have elected whoever killed asjm as Don. I don't think I'd place too much weight on the innocent results of Day 1. |

A don shows up as innocent on all kills prior to them losing their don powers, including kills they committed before they were made don. |

Re: theme: the don is a wealthy person of high social standing, and is thus completely above suspicion  Also, no (fictional) witnesses are willing to say anything that incriminates the don, or they know they'll get rubbed out...
