| Post subject: | Running for Elected Positions |
As I preemptively mentioned in my intro, I will be running for office. Specifically, I'm running for police officer. Dukhovni is running for mayor. We're not quite on a "ticket" together, but we'll likely be wandering around together at the same time. We will wander to the necessary living groups by the end of today, hopefully. We should get positions elected by the end of today. Since we don't have much information about people at this time, I don't think it is worth not signing someone's petition in hopes of getting a better candidate. I'll be happy to sign anyone else's petition who wants to run, but remember that election petitions don't exist while someone is in office, so unless someone else plans to wander to the necessary living groups today, it probably isn't worth running as well. We'll probably die early though, whether through ambitious mafia or suspicious vigilantes, so these probably won't be permanent positions. |

If dukhovni and I go over to EC tonight (around 6:30) to get petition signatures, would people be there to let us in / sign petitions? |
