Live Action Mafia

Multiple people have said that their role is "choose your own role." I suspect that the mafia may have a set-a-trap ability, where they can guess if someone did or did not choose their own role. So, please do not tell anyone whether or not you made up your own role (don't be specific about what your role does, and don't tell anyone that you made up your role).

I think this is very good advice. A "guess whether X ridiculous-sounding role was made-up by the gods or by the player"-based mafia ability seems elegant/hilarious/trollsy from a meta-game perspective.
