Everyone here should make sure they have two personalities they can use:
1. Mafia personality. Be a cold-blooded killer. Get NPs to scout for you. Before you make kills, privately rehearse with an NP assistant. Usually, I would suggest tactics for getting people to tell you their role, but it's just too hard this game, so it's more likely to give you away than anything.

2. Townie personality. This should be how you're thinking most of the time. A reasonable townie isn't very afraid of death, especially lynching. However, they are shocked or surprised by kills or fake kills. Have a healthy paranoia about being killed. Protest your innocence, but definitely DO NOT act afraid of being lynched. Only mafia have a fear of getting lynched.
Everyone should have a fake role. Everyone should behave like a townie, and not tell anyone their fake role. Really, don't hint at it. You can often convince people to trade roles with you, but this game, I would definitely not try it. There's too high of a chance they're trying to catch mafia.

Additionally, I propose that we have codephrases to signal to each other that we want the other person to switch personalities. ie, a word you can slip in to what you say to tell the other person "Please act completely normal and non-mafiaish, regardless of what I'm doing," a word to signal "Please support my argument, regardless of how sketchy it seems", and a word to signal "Please go full-on murderer, regardless of the consequences". It's often difficult to tell in conversation what you want them to do. The first two words should be quite subtle, while the the third can be pretty blatant.

I suggested in the other thread that Ama be a 'investigator'

I think we should all think that we're 'vigilantes'. It should be easy to change this later, because we should never be telling anyone else our role. It's useful to have something to default to when we're under pressure and can't think, though.

Under no circumstances claim to be an innocent child.

sounds good. Sorry I'm a bit out of the loop. Can you catch me up on what we're currently attempting to do. If I see someone that would make an easy kill (like a random chance meeting) can I go for it?

I respond most quickly to facebook chat/text.

Try to only kill someone if you think they're a competent player.

Also make sure we vote and post as much as would be expected from us. From my few experiences so far, Ama and Aradhana aren't the most active players (and Katy you could definitely get away with not posting that much. Just post some alibis and make a few comments here and there so that people don't count you as inactive?)

Aok is so far IMO doing a good job of posting in town square the amount that I'd expect him to. I think I am too (or I'm trying to)

I vote almost every single night in games I've played before. Idk what you guys do but make sure to not do anything abnormal.

If the town remains less active this game (though activity will definitely pick up after a kill is made) that can be very good for us.

I'm pretty sure I just said really obvious things and didn't really add anything important but whatever. I'm tired.
