I'm not sure if we got it right or not, but I'm so proud of the 87.5%, 7/8, voting turnout! Active townies are the best <3

Lane told me he wouldn't be voting tonight... He's enjoying his 21st birthday. ;-)

Wait Jammy, Miranda had a camera at day start. Did it get redistributed?

If anybody has the camera (i.e. if Miranda gave it to you), please announce now :)

Also, I am thoroughly unconvinced about Miranda's guilt. I should have been louder about this, but I was in the middle of multiple individual conversations.

I told mayor Ama about this, but she apparently disagreed (which I suppose is fair.) It takes a bit of explanation to say why I think she was so unlikely to be guilty. And I formulated these thoughts too late (and after a rules clarification.)

But here it is:

- mafia have 1-2 manipulate the presses
- mafia have 0-1 hitmans
- mafia have a Don (which I didn't realize until getting a god-clarification.)
- mafia have frame a townsperson.

Given all of this, why, why, why would the mafia ever make a kill without using one of their powers? They don't need to. They can win the game without it. And I don't think Miranda would have made that mistake.

But I think she was a reasonably predictable investigation target, and there was some discussion about her being suspicious. Therefore, I think she was framed.

And just for a bit more reason to believe...she hardly put up a fight against being lynched.

Edit: they have 0-1 frame a townsperson.

But my point still stands. The mafia have enough special powers to never need to make an investigatable kill until it's too late for the town.

Mayor Ama told me that she counted the mafia right before the start of the day (that is, right before Miranda was lynched.)

There were 2 mafia remaining. Ama, please confirm?

I think it may be worth impeaching Ama and electing a new mayor so that we can get a second mafia count. But we can think about that more tomorrow.

I will be posting about dgrazian's last words around 5 pm when i get back from work. As of now, I think we must impeach Ama and elect a new mayor to count the mafia. This will dictate the lynch tonight.

I will check back at 5, but please say if you would be available to sign it in EC between 5 and 7.

I'll also be there this time.

Are we all meeting in the courtyard again?

Yup, 2 mafia were counted before the lynch (so conscription was used already or mafia don't have that ability...). I'll be at EC around 6:30.

So EC courtyard at 6:30, is that the plan?
