They’re coming for us!

We’ve successfully barricaded them outside, and we think we probably got rid of any out there, but there might be a few whose derangement is not yet evident that are still within. We hope we’ll be able to weed them all out before we’re all turned into thoughtless brain-consuming blobs of flesh.

For the next few days, we will have to deal with the paralyzing fear of the treachery of those around us, as we attempt to go about our daily lives in this horrid world.
But all is not lost. You gain confidence in the fact that most of the friends you’ve grown up with are still reasonable, benign human beings. You’d better keep each other safe in here.

Last time you checked, here was the roster of survivors left in the colony:

You’ve also gathered the following information about what could be threatening you. Your enemies have:

    1x total from Hire a Hitman, Poison, and Scheme
    2x total from Frame a Townsperson, Manipulate the Press, and Plant Evidence
    2x KABOOM!


Notes on the webapp: most of the moderation of this game will take place on the webapp, including all of the below:
    Vote for lynch
    Report kills/deaths
    Transfer items (requires in-person meeting as well)
    Use devious mafia powers (but you’d never do that)
    Collect or Destroy clues for an investigation
    Make an Investigation
    Reveal your childlike innocence
    etc.

You can log in and click the top right corner to see your role. The actions dropdown contains most of the things you can do, except lynch voting, which is on the front page. Please ask if you run into an error message or have a problem. 2 things:

1) I don't think there's any point to this game. Jammy just told us that we're all normal humans and since I certainly am not a mafia, I'm pretty sure we're all vanilla townspeople.

2) In the weird case that there are mafia among us, do they get to pick between Hitman/Poison/Scheme, is that something Gods/random number generator decides, or do we townies not get any clarification on which of the two it is? Same question for the 2x total from Frame/Manipulate/Plant. Also could they have 2 of the same power (a rereading of the post makes me think yes but I'm not sure)?

Two questions:
1. Do mayor and police officer work the same as the precious game?
2. How is destroying clues applicable? Rogues aren't in the game, right?

2. The specific powers the mafia have were chosen by the mods before game start. Mafia (should they exist) have at most one each of Frame/Manipulate/Plant.

Daniel:

1. Yes.
2. You're right, it's not. There are a fixed 2 clues per kill.
