So here's a conspiracy theory that might explain last night's events:
Lucy and asjm are mafia. Francesca is an innocent child who is unlucky enough to reveal to Lucy early in the game. They slaughter the weak on her, and then take the opportunity to act as if she was a gay knight in order to publicly get an extra kill. This is the type of ruse that I could see Lucy pulling off.
Of course, their original explanation is still somewhat more likely than this, but one thing that still bothers me about Lucy's version of events is how did Lucy know that Francesca was a gay knight and her partner was asjm, and why did Francesca text Lucy about her killer rather than directly text asjm? I find it hard to believe that Francesca, an experienced player, would accidentally let slip to Lucy not only her role but also the identity of her gay knight partner.
If the above theory is correct, then Lucy would be taking an unnecessary risk by involving herself in it, as asjm could just claim to have received Francesca's text and gone after her killer himself. So perhaps it is less likely, but still something to keep in mind.
Things that should be done:
1. Francesca should be shoveled to confirm that she was indeed a gay knight.
2. A trusted player (I propose myself) should become mayor and count the mafia.
