I don't feel comfortable telling everyone that I'm not mafia, because I don't want the mafia to know that I'm not one of them. I figure they wouldn't want to kill me as long as there is a chance that I could be one of them.

As a code monkey, I believe myself to be a very poor choice as mafia as coding and killing require very skills. Because of this, and my own moral code, I have never considered applying to join the mafia, certain that they would kill me on the spot for the insult of pretending that they would accept someone like me as mafia. I hope to live through this whole fiasco and be able to get back to my work without too much death and turmoil.
