I was confident that sammy was not mafia Sunday night when I talked to him. I can read him in person quite well. I actually thought he seemed off when he gave me the shovel, but thought because he was stressed about psets. Fb chat is harder.. Funny thing about the night he was conscripted:

I think that while sammy has all the information he needs, he cannot do all by himself. And he'll probably be discovered sooner rather than later. Nastya is playing well and could potentially finish off game. I hope achester, Alex, sashacf and Lucy can salvage the situation before they die..

We saved conscription at my insistence (though Nastya can take most of the credit/blame for conscripting sammyluo specifically - I had been hesitant to conscript him but was fully on board by the time I died.)

I think that the Mafia in recent games have tended to use conscription too soon. My general philosophy is to save the ability if the existing Mafia are able to handle the game on their own. I felt like we were in good shape until the double whammy of Jakob and me getting killed. Again, really good judgement on that Francesca! And I really wanted to use conscription to infiltrate the network Which would be less likely if we used the ability early.
