You look up to see a large Dewgong staring down at you. You take a breath to calm your nerves and open the door to the Cerulean Gym. In the middle of the gym, a large pool with a set of blinking eyes just beneath the surface of the water awaits. Too bad you specialize in fire type Pokemon. Well, perhaps better luck awaits you in Vermillion City… “Don’t go too far now, brunnerj,” dylanhen says to his Horsea. They had just finished battling Misty in the Cerulean City gym and went down to the beach for a relaxing dip in the sea. “Horsea,” reassured brunnerj and bobbed his head up and down. Dylanhen watched his Horsea swim gleefully in the water. But then brunnerj is gone. A Sharpedo jumps out of the water with red smears around its mouth. In the distance, dylanhen hears a screech of laughter and the words, “Team rocket blasting off again!” In his grief, dylanhen summons his Jolteon. An electric wave travels through the water, another travels into the trees, and, yet another, reverberated through the air. Somewhere in the distance, aok silently falls, struck down by one of these carelessly thrown waves. aok is exeggcuted.
