Each player gets one lynch vote each day. Vote here: Lynch votes http://jakob.link/x1

"bang" and "kaboom" kill you unless you know otherwise.

Mayoral elections work as they do in normal games. Day extensions work as they do in normal games.

Let me know if I missed anything?

Are pseudo-incants like "bong!" or "kablammo!" allowed? I mean, obviously no faking incants, but what if you don't actually think something's an incant? Is it the same as the usual mystery game "anything can be an incant, be reasonable" or can we troll people?

Post subject:  Re: Rules

Go ahead and troll, but please avoid sounding like anything you know to be a real incant.

How do petitions to elect people work if people are out of town?

We're voting for mayor, not president. Only residents of the area can vote for mayor. Imagine what it would be like if I could vote for mayor of Boston despite living in Palo Alto, CA!

:P

Is the required number of votes a majority of local players?

Yes.

Hypothetically, could remote players sign petitions if they were in the MIT area?

Author:  jakob [ Wed Jul 06, 2016 10:13 pm ]
Post subject:  Re: Rules

Yes. They could also make kills or be killed. Remote players planning on becoming local (and vice versa) should let me know. Local players becoming remote should get a body double.

Is it publicly known what the town goal is?

Author:  jakob [ Thu Jul 07, 2016 9:46 pm ]
Post subject:  Re: Rules

No. Town thinks that there are people who want town dead. Town's goal is for those people to be dead.

Do people have to respond truthfully to the question "Are you alive?" and such variations?

Author:  jakob [ Fri Jul 08, 2016 1:24 pm ]
Post subject:  Re: Rules

Yes. I should have guaranteed that. You must respond to that question to the best of your ability
