Whoever the other investigator(s) is/are (besides the one I'm in contact with) you need to find a way to disseminate your information to the town. Your best option is to use a proxy: take a risk telling a single person or two people that you are investigator, and ask them to report your findings to the town. The worst scenario is for you to die, whether by lynching or by mafia-kill, without us realizing that we've lost an investigator. This happened last game, allowing the mafia to comfortably fake-claim. That wouldn't have happened if the real investigator's identity had been known to a townsfolk or two. This applies to a slightly lesser extent to other power roles. And most importantly, use your investigative power every single day. |
