All townies will have the goal 'Any player who has killed another player is dead.'
Play in order to have all of your CURRENT goals complete at the end of the game.
There is no public way for game to end.
There are three elected positions: Mayor, Police Officer, and Priest. Elections to these roles happens by normal election rules. The effect of being elected to these positions is unknown.
Anonymous communication, provable randomness, and cryptography are allowed. Looking at screens/screenshots are not allowed. Copying text is allowed. Sharing forum accounts is not allowed.
All players are required to post an introduction.
The webapp allows you to do a great many things. Do not do these unless you believe that you can.
Things you can do whenever you want:
Eat a potato. This must be done via the webapp. Eating a potato causes its effect to occur on you. When you eat a potato, you must check what happens when you eat it, even if you think you already know. No interaction with a potato is guaranteed to be safe. In general, eating a potato is more dangerous than other interactions.
Transfer a potato to someone else. This must be done via the webapp. You do not have to be in the same location as the person you are transferring with.
At the end of each day, at Midnight, if you haven't eaten a potato, you die (Potato god reserves the right to be lenient at potato god's discretion).

https://goo.gl/forms/2Rded7go2moAls3m1There will be three rounds of mob voting each day, at 11 PM, 11:30 PM, and Midnight. No kills can be made from 11 PM to Midnight, but other game actions are allowed during this period.
In the first round of the mob vote, each player may cast either -3 PROTECTION votes for someone, or 3 AGGRESSION votes against someone.
In the second round of the mob vote, each player may cast either -2 PROTECTION votes for someone, or 2 AGGRESSION votes against someone.
In the third round of the mob vote, each player may cast either -1 PROTECTION votes for someone, or 1 AGGRESSION vote against someone.
You may vote to PROTECT yourself. You may not split up your votes in a round. After each round, all votes are publicly revealed.
After the third round, all PROTECTION and AGGRESSION votes are added up. Every player with a positive total is killed by the angry mob.

If you just want to vote to protect yourself, don't bother filling out the form. You do that by default.
The next day begins at midnight, but until 12:15 AM, no game actions may be taken.
Alignment:If you are told to gain # of an alignment and you have no alignment, you gain that alignment with a strength of #.
If you are told to gain # of an alignment and you already have that alignment, your strength of that alignment increases by #.
If you are told to gain # of an alignment X and you have a different alignment Y, your strength of alignment Y decreases by # (if you hit zero, you lose alignment Y). If you have leftover gains (i.e. if # is greater than the strength with which you were initially aligned with Y) then you gain X with strength equal to # minus your original strength of alignment with Y.
Each player can only have one alignment at a time. Goal is not the same thing as alignment. These are completely unrelated mechanics.
Incants:BANG is an incant that kills you unless you know otherwise.
KABOOM is an incant that kills you unless you know otherwise.
SPLASH is an incant that never has any visible effect.
Kills:If you die or kill someone, PM god immediately. A death announcement may or may not be posted.
If you kill someone, you do not get all of their items.
Anyone may visit a kill site and attempt to loot a body there. If the body has any items, they get a random one, and cannot loot any more bodies for the rest of the day.
