As stated publicly, your goal is to end game with all non-mafia dead and at least one of your number alive. All of you will remain loyal to this goal until death, so work together!
Unlike a traditional game, you don’t have most of the powers you might be accustomed to (daily kill, scheme, etc.) So what do you have going for you? Well, the town doesn’t know what powers you have; you each derive some power from your classical and special roles; items can give you powers; and we are giving you the following powers shared among Mafia:
Trap - You get to set this trap at most once each day, and kill the target if successful. (If it’s not successful, you don’t lose the trap; you still get it back each day. So you have nothing to lose by setting it daily.) You can’t set the trap while it’s still stuck on the previous person you trapped, but you may at any point voluntarily release them from your trap.
Slaughter The Weak - An extra trap (as above) that works only on innocent children. You DO lose this trap if you ever guess wrong.
Manipulate Location - Once per game, you may change the location of a kill to anywhere.
Manipulate Time - Once per game, you may change the time of a kill by up to 5 minutes in either direction.
Kaboom - For every three kills made by the mafia (regardless of how you make them), you earn 1 use of “kaboom” where you would have otherwise said “bang”. These uses do not regenerate, so use them wisely!
Disarm - When anyone attempts to kill you with “bang” you may respond with “disarm.” The killer may choose to let you live or not. (You cannot survive "kaboom" or "smite" with this.)
Restrictions: each night, if the Mafia have not killed anyone in the past two days, a Mafia will die. You may choose which one. (If there are 3 no-kill days in a row, mafia die on both the second and third night.) There is no cumulative limit on no-kill days. Also, Mafia-aligned players may not attempt to kill the same person more than once in a day.
