With shrinking natural habitats, the elephants and the bears have been pushed into the same habitat. Which is really annoying, because clearly there’s only room for one of your species to thrive. You tried for years to drive the bears to extinction, but they were just too hard to kill off, so now you’ve switched tactics.
You heard of a dream that was being constructed, so your species put itself into hibernation along with the rest. While you were gone, you figured, the bears would overpopulate, deplete all the salmon in the streams and their other food sources, and drive themselves into extinction by overpopulation. You’d wake up eventually, and the land would be all yours.
Unfortunately, you’ve woken up to find that the bears had the same idea - they put themselves into hibernation too. And you’re afraid they might be better at it; after all, bears have experience as a species with sleeping through the winter, and elephants really don’t. So you’re going to have to make sure they wake up, faster than the elephants do, or any other faction for that matter.
Goal: Make the bears overpopulate by ensuring that 5 of their species wake up before that many of any other faction wakes up. (It’s okay if they die after they wake up.)
Daily Trap: Each day, as a faction you may choose one dream-world player to set a trap on by guessing their classical role. You find out if it succeeds. You can’t do anything else with it.
Scent Test: Elephants are known for their long noses. Twice per day, as a faction you may choose one dream-world player and one type of animal. You are told whether that player will be that type of animal when they wake up.
