How about set a trap, bring out the big guns, frame a townsperson, or manipulate the press? Surely the last two should work.

My interpretation of the rules is that none of those are okay. The last two are more questionable, and I don't know what the precedent has been in the past, and I would like to stick to that, if possible.

My understanding has been that the rogue cannot use any special abilities. In the future we might want to change this, but my understanding has always been 'no' on all counts.
