Apparently she had claimed to multiple people that she was investigator, but it wouldn't make sense for an investigator without any protective items to be so eager to become police officer since the police officer is a high-profile target and very likely to die.

So, claiming to be investigator and being police officer both make you a likely target. I wonder who ksedlar claimed to be an investigator to, because those people are now slightly more suspicious

One possibility is that she purposefully made herself a likely target and obtained a microphone, but that whoever has the corresponding receiver hasn't come forward for one reason or another.

In other news, aok claimed mafia, so we should just lynch him.

I have a rules question. When we PM God with an investigation question, auto-obituary, lynch vote, etc, do we PM one god or both?

PM one or both. Either way, one of us will end up sending the reply to the other one too, so both gods will get the message.

aok was claiming mafia as an amusing reference to the previous game, in which shenanigans occurred. I would not consider that reason for lynching him.

Also, what do people make of the purported text message from Katie to Lucy, Ishara, and Lisa saying that her killer was "??"?

My suspicion is that it was the tactic that was used last game (by sueshep, possibly others) of keeping a text saying "My killer was " on your phone while you were walking places alone, then typing as much as you could and sending it if you saw anyone from game walking towards you suspiciously.

Did the text name someone specific and the "??" is because you don't know? Or did the text literally say her killer was "??" That would imply the killer was someone ksedlar didn't know by face. AFAIK none of Lucy, Ishara, and Lisa have come forward with a name, so it sounds like the latter?

She texted ??. At this time however we think that is unrelated to her murder because she was killed 10 minutes later.
