Welcome, Pokémon trainers, to the peaceful and bucolic Viridian City! I hope you all have a great time here, training your Pokémon, facing off against each other, and taking on our world-renowned gym! Well, the gym isn't open yet, but I'm sure it will be soon. Any day now.
Unfortunately, there have been reports of Team Rocket activity in the area. Rocket agents will kill you and take your Pokémon if they can, so be vigilant. Stay alert for suspicious behavior, and if you see something, say something! Then take the person you saw out behind the Pokémart and lynch them.
