Hey everybody,

I propose that we meet again today at 9:00 p.m. Let's go with Pecker (4th floor of random hall) as a default, unless somebody else has another place in mind (Maseeh would be good if c-rock/austin/william wong can let us in.

I can meet in Maseeh if we keep it short (1/2 hour? 45 minutes?)

How long was the last meeting?

Last meeting took around two hours or so, I think.

It'd be nice to have someone to hunt down William Wong with, Austin is hosed, too.

I can't really make it to the meeting from ET but I'd like to nominate myself for replacement Police Officer. The primary reason I think this is a good idea from your perspective is that I'm going to be out of town starting on Thursday and therefore can't be killed (I know this isn't *really* in the spirit of the rules but I did tell Josh before the game started, and so we might as well take advantage of it).

Whether or not you guys take me up on this, please get signatures at the meeting for *somebody* to be PO.

By the way, the last meeting only took two hours because of the jk/aok thing happening during the meeting, at the meeting.

Has a petition been made for new PO? I think that should be first priority; no point wasting tomorrow's protection.

FWIW if anyone has the motivation to bring a petition to ET, you're basically guaranteed 7 signatures instantly. This would apply to a mayoral petition as well.

Guys how is there not a finished PO petition? I posted about this at least twice before the meeting started and then another time during the meeting.

Mine was with all the mayor petitions. Why are we not posting who we are lynching? It's cool and all that you guys were at a meeting, but, like, keep the rest of the town informed.

Being unable to make the meeting due to hosage, it would be nice if there were slightly more heads-up about any random lynchings that are going to be happening, though I suppose it doesn't matter too much earlier in the game that everyone votes.

Justin, I meant to post this an hour ago, but:

1. Deciding who to investigate was much more important than electing a new Police Officer.
2. We wouldn't have had enough signatures anyway without spending a lot of time going around and getting people to sign petitions
3. The Police Officer is nice to have (and there's no reason not to have one) but it's not that big of a deal. The protection power is only useful if there is a particular person you want to protect and don't mind the mafia knowing that you want to protect them. And the investigation power...well faced with that possibility, the mafia would probably just Manipulate the Press or a related power if they were killing the mayor.

On the other hand, anytime the mayor dies, electing a new mayor is the absolute first priority.
