Live Action Mafia

Okay. Out of curiosity, how much random shit do we have? We should keep track of these and remember that mafia can totally destroy items in our possession, which might come in handy if we think we can't hand it off to another mafioso in time and have a high risk of being searched or killed.

I have a shovel. If someone asks I intend to say that I've passed it on already. In fact, I probably should pass it on to a Randomite to pass on to a non-Randomite -- on the off chance I get searched or someone asks me to shovel something, I can say I passed it off to [named Randomite] who in turn passed it on to someone I do not know.

I cannot directly pass it off to a non-Randomite because the people around me -- namely, Isaac, sueshep, and ksedlar -- know I have social anxiety and stuff and am not very likely to trust someone outside of Random whom I do not know. So most likely, I will hand the shovel to Lucy, who will pass it along to a mafioso in ET.

Also, we can totally destroy receivers, right? Unless one of our mafia has a mic. In which case, I'd say we only save receivers for mics we either have in our possession or are likely to get into our possession very soon, so if one of our mafioso with a mic dies it might help us find rogue. Otherwise receivers are a bit useless to us and only serve to implicate us if someone finds one in our possession.

Good point about Rogues. If you have a receiver that you got through someone giving it to you, I would actually advise not getting rid of it right away, since they could ask if you still have it, and it would look sketchy to have gotten rid of it. I'll think about this more after class, but for now, if the receiver was gotten through lawful means, don't destroy it yet.

Lucci, you didn't start with a shovel, correct? Who gave it to you? Also, if people give you items, it's sketchy to pass them on, because one pass-off from the person who originally had the item is ideal to make sure the mafia don't know where all the items are while limiting the chance that the person you pass the item to is mafia.

-Mic 3 and 4
-Receiver 1 and 4 (Lucy and William, you didn't hand yours off, right?)
-2 shovels, one with Lucy and one with lucci

I got my shovel from sueshep. I am hoping that I will not be called upon to use it any time soon, unless we're digging up aok again and asking what role he is.

I am pretty sure Mic3 got popped. I gave it back to Liz, and Liz gave it to Lucy.
