I don't necessarily know what you're talking about mchang, because I've not been too invested in this game of LA Mafia (mostly because there's been a large roll-over in the player base) but it rubs me seriously the wrong way that you're trying to sway public opinion with a claim of what you saw the Game Master doing or how he was reacting. In the guild, this is referred to as meta-gaming, and it is frowned upon to let it sway your own actions, let alone other players.

Please avoid posting what JFrisch is doing as evidence of your stance.

But I actually didn't see JFrisch do anything.
The atmosphere in the lounge just changed really fast, which made me notice something was going on.

2 Mafia + 2 extra Mayor votes + 3 Fake ID's = 7
7 active townies + 1 Fake ID = 8

Let's hope everyone voted. Otherwise, we have to get a new Mayor tomorrow in order to not lose. Go around to inactives to gather signatures if you need to.

I still am baffled just how Shi-Ke got elected Mayor...

Also, it's sad that we have 16 players left and are at risk of insta-losing to Mafia.

It was before the aok/Shi-Ke tinfoilers posted their suspicions and started up a mess on the forums, so those who weren't already thinking about it wouldn't have thought anything of it.

Additionally, he had the petition as one in a group of 11 and encouraged people to sign them all at once. Most of the others were for the innocuous CP position, so it wouldn't surprise me if people overlooked the fact that they were electing a sketchy person to mayorhood.

Additionally, aok has told me that one inactive* is willing to sign any petitions that you put in front of her. So that accounts for at least one signature.
