Parallel Killers can now make kills anywhere in ESG (24-6) and 12:28-13:28.

I was in 4-370 waiting for my class to start (I'm still here if someone wants to check, but that wouldn't be very meaningful since I can probably run from 24-6 to 4-3 in 7 minutes.

This kill was at almost exactly the same time as yesterday's, which makes me think it's a PK: PKs are constrained in time, and mafia should try to make kills at different times to give PKs more options.

Looking around, no other players seem to be here now.

Was headed to campus with god and god's boyfriend (because god had a 1pm class). Neither of whom are likely to confirm my alibi fml.

Do we think this was a parallel kill, or a mafia kill fashioned to look like a parallel kill? My gut says the former.

I don't think mafia want to fake PK kills; it makes it too hard for the actual PKs

Arrived at 24-112 for my recitation and then realized that recitation starts at 2pm instead of 1pm, so I stayed in the classroom and played games on my iPad for the entire hour. (I know this sounds really weak but please trust me on this one.)

I was walking to 18.06 recitation; was following jamb and lukesci from W20 some time after 12:55; it's possible we alibi each other, but I'm not sure enough about the exact time to be 100% certain.

I think the kill was probably made by a parallel killer. IMO, mafia get relatively little value from making their kills look parallel, but they give parallel killers more future possibilities if they make non-parallel kills. So, it would be rather silly for mafia to have made this kill, especially because no other players are in ESG (I think?).

At 12:55 I looked at my watch and said "Should I go to 6.whatever lecture?" to ritagram + jamb + NPs in W20. There was, like, a brief discussion and then we started walking. The three players headed the same direction. Margarita was behind me, Jackie was next to me. We walked at a normal speed. I separated into the elevator in building 10. Could Margarita have dashed off behind us without me noticing? Could Jackie have sprinted around MIT.nano to get to ESG? I'm not sure. It seems kinda unlikely. Jackie would have had to average something like 10 feet/sec, even with traffic in the Infinite. A sneaky Margarita could have managed it going 9 feet/sec. She has very bright rain gear; would I really have missed it going down Mass ave? Non-sneaky Margarita is like Jackie but has to go a bit faster. Are these numbers plausible?

In summary, I non-definitively alibi Margarita and Jackie.

Even if lukesci doesn't alibi me, I think I can alibi him: I definitely saw him turn into the elevator alcove in lobby 10; this probably would have been within a minute of the kill time.

mayars left 12:53. lukesci and I walked together until 13:00 when we separated in Lobby 10. ritagram was walking behind us (and I checked over my shoulder every minute or so; she couldn't have run off) until 13:01.

Sorry friends I'm pretty sure it wasn't you two, fwiw, but I can only say what I remember.

I have class in E62 at 1:05, and wouldn't have gotten there on time after making a 12:58 kill. This class - Introduction to Making - had the MacGuyver catapult-building challenge today, which I would never show up late to just for a Mafia game.

Lucy, you're in this class too -- how much do you support my alibi?

I'll answer that for you: Lucy can't support my alibi, because she was more than 5 minutes late to class.

I would have just arrived at 4-159 for my systems biology class at the time this kill was made (I went with some NP friends but nobody else in-game was in that class afaik). I walked to class from building 68 cafe.

I also agree that this is probably a PK due to the timing, and it does not really make too much sense imo for mafia to try to fake a PK kill (there isn't really that much of a point other than depriving future PKs of kill opportunities).

Linus definitely can't alibi me because I did in fact show up 7 minutes late to class (it takes me at least 15 minutes to walk from 38 to e62) I think I weakly alibi Linus if people think its not possible to go from 24-6 to e62-2 in less than 9 minutes.

There was a faculty lunch in room 5-102 from noon which ended around 12:50 because the professor had to teach a class at 1pm. At the moment 12:55PM, I was likely in the men's bathroom located at the beginning of the infinite corridor by lobby 10. Immediately afterward, I worked on a pset at the Barker Library from 1pm until 1:50 because I had class at 2pm and didn't want to walk back to Random.
