Maya looks overwhelmingly guilty due to her unaccounted-for items (a shovel used on jackie and a fake id.) The obvious source of the shovel is from maya killing nolan. However, there is not an obvious explanation for how she got her fake id.

Did anybody give maya a fake id or otherwise have an idea of how she got it? For that matter, did anybody give her a shovel (that could theoretically yield a situation in which she was town.)

More generally, did anybody ever give items to or accept items from Maya? Or observe Maya trying to obtain items or information from people.

Also, if she got the shovel from Nolan, she must have used it since Nolan died before Jackie. Can anyone think of a good reason for her to do that, because it's really confusing me.

I guess she could have done it to keep town from using it?

That would be my inference.
