Those who point out that if anyone can claim their kills as vig, then that doesn't imply that one should withhold alibis for a "vig kill", are correct. You should withhold alibis if you think it's good for the killer to escape, and not if not. If you're confused, following the majority is a (probably bad) proxy for doing the correct thing. Others saying "don't post, this was a vig!" are expressing the opinion that it is good for the killer to escape (presumably the claim is that this is good for town, since town is the known plurality...maybe not anymore, who knows). |
