But I'm still pretty sad about only 1 super obvious word being hit when FOOTLAMBERT clued 3 words very strongly, and my team continuing to use the top of their queue despite a clue for 6 (especially on cmcclena who I was *specifically* trying to prevent them from hitting, otherwise I would have done AVOGADRO'S, 2)

I'm confused.... Why did you strongly clue RAY and SHOE if you were trying to *prevent* them from hitting me?

Oh my gosh, I just realized last night that BARD for 3 would have been amazing for day 6. It clearly clues DICE; otherwise a non-D&D reference would have been chosen. And it definitely clues FLUTE and BELT (notably we listed "to sing loudly" as interpretation 4 for BELT). It would also clue NOTE, but we were pressing that bystander already, so w/e. It doesn't seem to clue anything else for cmcclena, so we would *probably* click RAY as a second word for her. With DICE and FLUTE/BELT looking good, we would know not to press BOTTLE or MOUNT. The only question would be whether we could figure out that we needed to press both FLUTE AND BELT, but I would like to think we would have pressed both, just to be safe.
