I think this is worth its own thread.

ksedlar's last words (to me, in gchat, immediately before she died) were:

The most likely theory* is that "He" was an autocorrected version of some players name/initials/identifier

Consolidate theories here.


*A previous theory was that Kelly He made the kill. But "He" seems like a strange reflexive identifier here, not to mention that it's not clear that ksedlar would recognize Kelly or know Kelly's last name. Also, the three identical messages in quick succession suggests an autocorrect error.

"jw" is a plausible pre-autocorrect version of "He". (Now that I see that, that seems like great evidence. Mitigated a lot by that the spirit search cleared her, so the mafia'd've had to spend two spirit searches, or randomly get the result and lie about it, or use a once-per-game role power to clear her, but still something.)

Also, ksedlar has an iPhone.
-Someone with an iPhone should check whether this is plausible autocorrection.
-Everyone, note that this is evidence that you should use Android instead. :)

Some identifiers to test:

Pesto (achester) mentioned that jw might autocorrect to 'He'. Can some people test this, preferably with an iphone.

Remember that she was almost certainly in a rush/panic in typing, so it's possible that she made slight mistakes (e.g. 'je' instead of 'jw')

Other possible-looking autocorrect paths (coming from someone who doesn't know how autocorrect behaves.) :

kg -> he, kf -> he (karengao)
mw -> he, m2w ->he

jw (or typos intending jw) look the strongest.
