[i]Suddenly, in the middle of the day, the sky darkens. A sudden storm has gathered, and not one of the usual Izzet variety. You hear ixa cry out in pain as the Low Key in their possession heats up and rises into the air. You see a Beekeyper, an Okey Doughkey, an A Minor Key, and a pair of Skeys rise up to join it, before they all explode in a flash of light, leaving behind a portal from which hordes of zombies start streaming out.

Nicol Bolas, an ancient and powerful planeswalker, is invading Ravnica, and is offering everyone an ultimatum to join him or be destroyed. But a resistance force, calling themselves the Gatewatch and lead by the planeswalker Gideon Jura, has formed to defeat Bolas by destroying the Planar Bridge that powers his invasion. You can side with Bolas or the Gatewatch. Whichever side you choose, you will lose 1 point for each player on that side who is dead at end of game, and gain 1 point for each player on the other side who is dead at end of game. However, Bolas has sowed uncertainty: whichever side more people choose will lose 3 additional points. In addition, if you side with Bolas, you lose 2 points when he dies, and if you side with the Gatewatch, you lose 2 points when Gideon dies.

You have until the end of day to make your decision -- choose wisely.

Because people are apparently bad at game theory:

If everyone chooses one side, then everyone immediately loses 3 points, and then loses 1 point whenever someone dies. This is game theoretically extremely incorrect.

Feel free to lose a bunch of points if you really want, but it would probably be better if this were more interesting

Also, clarification: even if either Gideon or Nicol Bolas dies, their side, and this conflict, DOES continue existing.

Update: you only lose 2 points from your leader dying, and you only lose points if they die after today (after you've chosen sides).
