These are the powers available to you:

3 Slaughter the Weak
1 Frame a Townsperson
1 Plant Evidence
4 Bring Out the Big Guns
3 Scheme
2 Manipulate the Press
1 Hire a Hitman
3 Poison
2 Conscript a Townsperson (the second after having made 10 in person kills)
Benevolence (Gain 1 charge a day) (currently have 3 charges)

OK, if that's what we're doing we need to pick someone to act as the hitman. It should not be someone that it is widely known you are friends with.I would suggest past mafia players. Ceres was up for it before, another option is David Kaufmann. Email whoever you'd like to use today and see if they're up for it.

If you benevolence someone and they use it on a known result, e.g. one of the kamikaze kills, they'll catch you as mafia. I don't think it's worth it.

Sorry, yes it does. From the rules:

The mafia gain a charge every day. Every day, the mafia can use as many charges as they want to attempt to give benevolent investigative powers to a player by having a mafia send a message to the GMs, guessing the player’s role.

If she is correct, the player whose role they guessed is granted Investigative powers on a previously done kill of the player’s choice and is told who gave them their investigative powers. All of their investigations granted by this will show up as negative.
