To clarify telling cstubbe my role and no one else in simmons: I figured it was worth it to get another investigation and I didn't want to just sit on my genie power while the IC network and anyone I trusted got killed off. This was before oreo died; I figured if someone in Simmons was mafia or a rogue working with mafia after lopev/alex rampaged, they would have collaborated to kill someone in Simmons already.
Also I figured cynic was a viable excuse for wanting the identity of an ic for genie powers in case they told an conscripted ic, thank you for the shovel mads
