Guys, Troy was a new player. This, along with yesterday's no-kill day, leads me to believe that mafia is also fairly noobish. I know many experienced players oppose killing off newbies for their first kill as a matter of principle. Particularly, I do not believe that Dgrazian would let this happen if he were mafia.

I was in 34-101 from 12-1, taking my 6.041 exam. Whee. Went up to 38-400 to grab a VI-A application right after. Puts me in the "danger zone" unfortunately, I could have reasonably killed Troy given both that I was in the area and that I know him well. I probably sound like a good investigation target from another's point of view (of course, I know I'm a townie, so you shouldn't waste investigations on me .

Troy drove a van run with me, Lucy, Justin, and Liz just before he died. Lucy got off early; Justin, Liz, and I got off at about 12:58. I went straight to the tables in the 36-5 lobby, so no alibi. I saw dukhovni arrive at the adjacent table at about 1:10 (I didn't check exactly when) and leave at about 1:35.

I had just left my 5.13 lecture in E25-111 and was walking toward the Mariott Starbucks to get a latte and pset. The latte is delicious. I'm still here psetting.

Does anyone know for sure what Troy was doing there? According to his introduction, he has 21L.511 in 14N-112 at 1:00. So my best guess is that he was running late. However, that still raises the question of why mafia killed him where they did. They couldn't have known he would be there, unless they knew where he would be coming from and what path he would take. Do any of the ET people know who might know that?

Alternatively, it could have been a kill of convenience, or an instance of manipulate the press. I'm leaning towards the latter, given that it is the first kill.

Walking from 5.12 test at Walker to Maseeh via Memorial Drive. De Xin Chen (NP I'm pretty sure?) can confirm that I was at Maseeh with food by like 1:10 pm.

Miles Jess and I can verify that michikyo was on a phone interview with somebody from Michigan. Her phone says the call was at 1:02. Considering how crowded 26-100 is at the time, I doubt she would go on an interview while making that kill.

Pesto, can you confirm that Sarah Pratt was at ET when you left? If so, it's unlikely she would have been able to get to campus in time time to make the kill.

I ran to my class in stata after the van run, where I still am now. Had to get to class on time because of a guest lecture. This is obviously not a good alibi, so whatever.

This sucks, it was Troy's first time playing. =_= my guess is it was a "oh look who I just passed by" kill, because I don't think anyone would have planned to kill a new player.
